A Creative Corner in Our Community: Moonraker Studios

Nestled in the heart of Monticello, Moonraker Studios , formerly known as Main Street Art Gallery, is more than just a display space, it is a celebration of local creativity. Whether you're a lifelong resident or just passing through, stepping inside feels like entering an intimate world where color, texture, and imagination come alive.

Moonraker Studios opened its’ doors in May 2025. It is owned and operated by Erika Barnett; the gallery proudly features works by local artists ranging from emerging talents to seasoned creators. Exhibits change regularly, offering fresh inspiration with each visit. Moonraker Studios highlights a local artist each week. The many works displayed reflect the unique stories and landscapes that shape our community.

A few of the offerings at Moonraker Studios are pottery painting, drawing, kids camp, and canvass painting classes from beginner to advanced level which make Moonraker Studios a vibrant gathering spot. Unique events are always on the Moonraker Studios calendar for the community to enjoy.  The cozy charm and welcoming staff create an atmosphere that invites visitors to linger, learn, and connect.

Moonraker Studios offers party packages with a choice of canvass painting or pottery painting for all ages. They also offer venue rental which includes use of the gallery space for bridal showers, baby showers, or office parties.

Moonraker Studios was recently featured as MEDC's Small Business of the Week.

Moonraker Studios Fall schedule: 

Tuesday–Thursday: 12 PM – 5 PM

Friday: 12 PM – 7 PM

Saturday: 10 AM – 5 PM

(closed Sunday & Monday)

 Times will be announced for dedicated events.
