The talented cast of Aladdin JR. gave a special sneak peak performance at the Monticello-Drew County Chamber of Commerce & the Monticello Economic Development Commission's Annual Award Banquet.
Based on the iconic animated film, with an Academy Award-winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, Disney’s Aladdin JR. promises to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure. When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin JR., a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love. Ticket's are still available for the Genie's Wishing Bash on March 5th! !Enjoy a night out with Seark Concert Association while raising funds to benefit the UAM Fine Arts Center. Appetizers will be served at 6pm followed by the first performance of Aladdin, Jr! This performance will be exclusively for Genie's Wishing Bash ticket holders! Your ticket purchase will go towards updating and improving the UAM Fine Arts Center.
